Wyoming Residents: Save Money and Energy Starting April 15 If you are in the market to replace your old, inefficient appliances, look no further. For a limited time only, Wyoming residents are eligible to receive cash rebates for the purchase of ENERGY STAR qualified clothes washers, dishwashers, water heaters, and furnaces.
Rebates are available on a first-come, first-served basis starting on April 15, 2010 (until funds are depleted). If you are interested in refrigerator or other appliance rebates not offered by this program, your local utility may offer incentives. Please visit the Other Incentives page for more information.
About the ProgramFunded by the 2009 American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), the Wyoming Appliance Rebate Program offers rebates to Wyoming residents to encourage energy efficient product purchases and save energy throughout the state. Rebates are available for ENERGY STAR-qualified appliances ranging from $50 to $250, depending on the product. See the Qualifying Products page for more information.
Customer Eligibility- Any resident of Wyoming who makes a qualifying product purchase on or after April 15, 2010 (until funds are depleted) is eligible for rebates
- Contractors or other third parties are not eligible to receive rebates
- Rebates are available only for the replacement of existing and operational appliances in existing homes
- Rebates may not be used for appliances in new homes
- Single-family residences are eligible; multi-family residences do not qualify
- We highly encourage you to support Wyoming’s economy and buy from a local vendor. However, you do not have to purchase your product in Wyoming. Online purchases are eligible.
- Wyoming strongly encourages all program participants to work with your retailer or contractor (or local scrap recycler) to ensure proper recycling and disposal of the products you replace. Visit the Recycling page to learn more about options in your area.
